Floral NAIL design

I love spring and summer flowers so much! That's why i made this easy and simple mani featuring flowers. It is super easy. You just need 3  nail polishes of your choice along with a dotting tool (or a toothpick or anything you can use as a dotting tool). I really hope you like it and maybe try it out yourself!

Ok, so here are the things I used:
•Orange polish (or Any light colored polish)
•light blue polish
•Gray polish (or Any darker colored polish)
•gold polish (this Will be FOR the center of the flowers
•Dotting tool (IF you don't have one, you can just use a toothpick or make your own like I did. I just used a sowing pin and pushed it to a pencil eraser and voila!)

Step one: base colors
The first thing you'll need to do is apply a base coat to protect your natural nails from getting stained. You can really use any clear polish, even a topcoat. Then choose your base colors. I painted thumb, ring and pinky fingers orange, and the pointer and middle fingers a mint color.

Step 2: paint the flowers
Now use the dotting tool and dip it in the nail polish you want the flowers to be. Make small dots close to each other in a circle and that will create your flowers.

Step 3: finish the flowers and top coat
Finish the flowers by dipping the dotting tool in a gold colored nail polish and painting a small dot in the center of each flower. This will make the flowers look so much better. Finally, seal all of your nails with a top coat of your choice.

Magnetic Water Melon Nails

I don't know about you, but there is no other fruit for that is most perfect for summer than a delicious slice of red jucy watermelon. Not only does it taste awesome, but it's super healthy because it is full of antioxidants and it's great for keeping you cool and hydrated during those hot summer days! So why not show it off in your nails? :)

Here are all of the items I used:

Easy Colurful Ombre Gradient Nails

Nothing shouts spring and summer than bold bright fun colors. This nail design is perfect because it is an explosion of just that! This design looks complicated, but it is the funnest and easiest to do. It's a bit messy and you need quite a few polishes, but it's all worth it!!! It kinda reminds me of tye die rainbow or a beautiful beach sunset.

Here's what I used:

Try to use colors that are opaque and vibrant. You do not have to use these exact polishes and brands. This is just what I had.
  • White polish: Sally Hansen Xtreme wear -White on
  • Cosmetic sponge
(White is for the base color. Having a white color as the base will allow the colors to pop and show more vibrant than if you do  not use a white base. Important: Allow the white to dry COMPLETELY  before you start to sponge or else the sponge will stick to the polish and the end result will not look nice.
  • Blue polish: Sally Hansen Insta dry- Blue By!
  • Purple polish: kleancolor lavenbaby
  • Pink polish: Sally Hansen insta dry fast fuchsia
  • Orange polish: loreal boozy beach
  • Yellow polish kleancolor neon yellow
Once you have your colors ready, line them up near you so can have easy access to them. Line them up in the order that you will be using them and loosen the cap so that when you are ready to start you can just applithe colors to the spoge faster. Start by applying the darkest color to the sponge horizontaly and go down using the next color until you have all the colors on the sponge. Try to do this fast to the polish will not dry on the sponge.
  • Nail polish reover or acetone - I used a polish remver from target.
  • Top coat- Nail envy Acrylic strong.
Finishing with a topcoat is very important. Not only will it add shine to your finished nails, but it helps blend the colors together. Trust me, it makes a difference.
