Strawberry banana coconut S'mores

Happy national s'mores day!!!

One of my favorite parts about going camping is eating those chocolatey and gooey marshmallow campfire toasted s'mores. But why wait until you go camping to indulge on these delicious treats when you can do them any day of the week inside your own home!! These s'mores have a yummy fruity twist to them and will amaze your taste buds once you try them. Here's how to make them:

Ingredients:
•graham crackers
•milk chocolate bars
•marshmallows
•strawberries
•coconut shreds
•banana

Next what you want to do is:

To assemble:
You will need a baking tray where you will be heating the s'mores in the oven. I lined mine with foil paper in case the marshmallows made a mess, but it is really not necessary.

First, place your graham crackers in the backin tray. You will need two half crackers to make 1 s'more. Here, I will be making 2 s'mores, so I have 4 half crackers, but you can make more or less.

Next, you will put chocolate over two of tge grahm crackers. Cut the chocolate as needed so they fit perfectly and cover the entire crackers. In my case, I was able to fit 4 small Hershey's squares and cut one in half to fill one half grahm cracker.

You will then top the chocolate with marshmallows. You can put one of those jumbo sized marshmallows the sell on the stores, several mini marshmellows, or in my case, 2 jetpuffed stacker mellows.

Next we are going to move the other half crackers that do not have the chocolate or marshmellows. On these, put four banana slices on each one.

After that, put strawberry slices. I had large strawberries, and was only able to fit 2 slices per half cracker. But you can put more or less depending on what you can fit.

To finish, top the crackers with strawberries and bananas with shredded coconut.

Melting the goodness 😝
Place your s'mores in a 400 f oven, or toaster oven. For this part, you want to be very careful and keep a close eye the entire time. You do not want to over burn the marshmellows. All you want is for them to develop a soft brown toasted color and for the chocolate to heat up so it melts easly. This can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes.

This is how it should look when ready. Take out of the oven and leet cool a little bit before you stack them together and enjoy them. The marshmellows will be golden and gooey and the chocolate will be soft and melted. The strawberry, banana and coconut just add a delicious twist. You have to try this!

I hope you try this out and like them.
